About
Katrina Casey is an artist living in New Haven, CT. She has an extensive background in visual arts and art therapy. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Connecticut State University where she received recognition for excellence in both ceramic and found object sculpture.
After graduating in 2011, Katrina began a career in therapeutic recreation. She facilitated therapeutic art programs with seniors and children of all ages. Her passion for working with people inspired her to pursue a master's degree in art therapy. While working toward her degree, she worked in various settings including after-school programs, nursing homes, private practices, and psychiatric hospitals. She graduated from Albertus Magnus College with a Master of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling degree in 2021.
Today Katrina is working as a potter out of a local studio in New Haven, CT. Her work is inspired by nature, her family roots, and vintage folk art design.
